In short: almost everything Football Shot Speed records stays on your own phone, so uninstalling the app already erases it. Only if you tapped Save with us now, or switched Send data to us on yourself, is there anything of yours on our server. That is removed on request, by email, within 30 days.

Step 1 — Erase what is on your phone

Everything the app records lives in its own private storage on your phone, so Android erases it for you. Either:

uninstall Football Shot Speed — press and hold the app icon, then choose Uninstall; or
keep the app and empty it: Android Settings › Apps › Football Shot Speed › Storage › Clear storage.

Either way this removes the names you entered, every measured speed, your leaderboard, the calibration of your setup and the technical log. Camera footage is overwritten by the next measurement and never leaves this storage.

You do not need us for this step and you do not have to ask anyone. It takes effect immediately.

One thing to know: Android may hold a copy of the app's data in your own Google backup, so that a reinstall picks up where you left off. That copy is yours, not ours, and we cannot reach it. To remove it as well, turn off backup for this app under Android Settings › Google › Backup before you uninstall.

Step 2 — Ask us to delete what is on our server

Send an email to info@footballshotspeed.com with the subject Delete my data, and include:

your recovery code if you have one — it is shown in the app under Settings › Save with us, and it is the only thing that identifies your backup;
or, if you no longer have the code, the first name that was used in the app and the approximate dates you used it, so we can find the right records.

A parent or coach may make this request on behalf of a child. You will get a reply within one month; in practice the deletion itself is done within 30 days, including our backup copies.

What gets deleted

The copy of your leaderboard — speeds, records, daily standings and milestones, stored under your recovery code.
The random installation number the app generated for itself. It is not an account, and it says nothing about you or your device.
Any clips and diagnostic logs you sent us while you had Send data to us switched on. That switch is off by default and turns itself back off after seven days.

After deletion none of this can be recovered, on our side or yours. If you still have the app installed, your own phone keeps its own copy until you carry out step 1.

What is kept, and for how long

Website server log lines. Every visit to footballshotspeed.com is recorded as one line: the time, the page requested, whether that succeeded, and the visitor's IP address. These lines are needed to investigate faults, are not linked to any app user, and are deleted after fourteen days.
Nothing else. There is no account, no password, no email address, no advertising ID and no device identifier, so there is no profile left behind after your data is gone.

If you never ask, the backup of your leaderboard is deleted anyway after two years without use.

Where it is stored

On a server in Germany, within the European Union. Nothing is transferred outside the EU, sold, or shared with other companies.
